We normally configure CloudPBX to automatically route calls according to specific 'Time Of Day' rules, but on occasion you may want to override these rules - to stay open late or close early, for example.
Here is how to do this - via the 'Enable / Disable / Reset Time Of Day' callflow objects.
1. First, let's say you have a simple callflow set up as below, with a basic Time Of Day rule in place. This rule routes calls to your extension between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, and to your voicemail box all other times.

2) Now, let's say you'd like to be able to toggle this Time Of Day rule on or off, from any phone on the system. First, choose a code that would act as the 'Always On' override. For this example, we chose '7020'. Create a new callflow, then select the 'Enable Time of Day' object from the menu, and drop it into the callflow.

Select which Time of Day rule(s) to override:

It should be the only object in the callflow, and should appear as below.

3) Then, set up another callflow item with an 'Always Off' override code - in this case, we chose '7021'.

4) Finally, set up another callflow item, with a code to stop the override process and go back to the automation - 'Reset Time of Day'. We chose '7022' for this.

5) You are now done! Here is how these codes work, in our example:
- Dial 7020 to override the Time of Day, keeping it enabled. This will ring the device even after closing hours
- Dial 7021 to override the Time of Day rule, keeping it disabled. This will send the calls to voicemail, even during open hours.
- Once you use one of these codes, the Time of Day rule will NOT return to the automated actions until you RESET the overrides.
- To return the Time of Day rule back to switching on/off automatically, dial the 'Reset' code (in this case, 7022).
- The system provides clear prompts each time you use the overrides, but note that it assumes a basic setup as noted here. The terms 'your office is open' and 'your office is closed' will of course not match all situations, depending on what your Time of Day rule is actually doing.
