This article provides additional detail to our 'How to configure 'Time Of Day' routing' article, which can be found here.
1. As with any Time of Day rule, go to the 'Advanced / Time Of Day' menu item.

2. On the left-hand side of the page, you'll see any existing Time Of Day rules you've created. Click 'ADD TIME OF DAY' to open a new dialog.

3. To open up the ability to set a specific date for this rule, change the 'Repeats' setting from 'Weekly' to 'Yearly'.

4. The first type of holiday we will set will fall on a specific numerical date every year - for example, New Year's Day. To do this, change the 'On' setting to 'Day' (which could really read 'Date')

5. Set the specific date (in this case, January 1st), and then change the 'time' slider so that the entire day is selected.

6. You should have something that looks like the below. Click 'Save' to save this rule, and then 'ADD TIME OF DAY' to create the next one.

7. The next rule will be one that may be on a different date every year, but is always a specific calendar day (such as the 'first Monday of September'). Once you're looking at the 'new time of day' dialog, select Repeats: 'Yearly', and set the month, then select the options that match this holiday.

8. Set the time slider to match the hours you'd like to match (in most cases, the entire day, as above).
9. Repeat these steps for each holiday in your schedule.
10. Perhaps the trickier part of this process is setting up a callflow that cascades through all your holiday rules. You need to set up a separate callflow for the 'Holiday' rules, and cascade them so that each step matches a rule, and sends calls to a corresponding route, or does not match and is sent to the next rule.
The result should look something like the image below.

In this example callflow, callflow object '7000' plays a 'closed' menu (the office is closed on these days), while callflow '7777' passes the call to the "Business Hours" time condition set. This could also route calls directly to the main callflow at this point.
It is a good idea to keep the 'Business Hours' time conditions separate from the 'Holiday' set just to keep editing the rules a bit simpler.
